Therapeutic Approach

Together, we will unlock your potential.

Our human potential remains obscured by ingrained habits that no longer serve us. These habits can hinder personal growth, as they often become automatic reactions to our circumstances. The focus of my sessions lies in bringing awareness to these habitual responses. Growth for me is synonymous with change. Throughout the therapeutic process I will support you in responding to changes in a self-supportive and aware manner. I believe that this is most important, as we humans naturally fear change.

Being afraid of the known coming to an end, our secondary habits desensitise us from new experiences, inhibiting us from taking full responsibility. Change likewise personal growth comes in the form of self-acceptance. Necessarily, I will help you to become aware of how you create your present moment, this will allow you to see the bigger picture. Becoming aware of the bigger picture will allow you for a greater ability to choose how you would like to respond to your given life situation.

Gestalt, views awareness as the healing factor towards an integrated self. The more aspects of yourself you own, the more spontaneously you can navigate through changes. Owning disowned parts of yourself, brings back more joy, as you will have more energy at your disposal. Beingfully present, brings the condition for change along. Hence I will guide you to explore your awareness through individually tailored interventions and experiments.

I am excited to see you growing into your possibilities.

Biographical Background
Work Experience
Education

I was born and raised in Germany to Polish Parents. In my life, I have been moving between Germany and Poland. I was raised speaking 3 languages: Polish, German and English. Reflecting on my family's history I am being confronted with questions of Identity and Belonging. My background is especially supportive, when working with expats.

I see life as a movement in relationships. Within our collaboration I would like you to become more aware of how you relate to yourself, therefore others.

Since 2019, I accompany people from all walks of live. Currently, I am working part time at a family counseling center. Here I consult: couples, children, youth, parents also sent by the family court and parents sent by the child care institution. Counselling multicultural families provides me with valuable insights connected to the challenges migration brings along. Further I learn much about the impact of divorce on the family system.

Before I worked with chronically ill individuals. Here I came across individual diagnoses such as: severe depression, borderline personality disorder, schizophrenia, autism and addiction. This experience has equipped me to help individuals navigate mood fluctuations and rapid emotional outbursts, particularly those related to fear and extreme withdrawal as responses to feelings of helplessness.

I have 9 years of education in the field of psychology. My master’s degree in Psychology I´ve obtained from the University of Warsaw. After graduating, it was my heart's desire to become a Gestalt- therapist. The Gestalt-Therapy Training at the IGG in Berlin consisted of 4,5 years of training, which amounts to 1,075 hours. The holistic approach, which focuses on contact, sensitising your awareness for the present moment and accepting what is going on in your life as a part of you, responsibility and self-support, has become the foundation of my work. Gestalt Therapy aims to get to know yourself deeply. For you being able to get to know yourself more deeply, it is my role to help you explore your awareness step by step. The result of this very individual process should be a greater capacity to simply BE present in your life. Likewise to change what has to be changed and accept what can´t be changed.
